Constance Loseby in retirement, 1896
'Miss Constance Loseby, who used to sing so charmingly in the earlier productions of the Gaiety [in London in the late 1860s] and on the variety stage, is to be the new manageress of the Greyhound Hotel, which looks out on the pleasant glades and tangled greenery of Bushey Park.'

'Harry Fragson and Mrs. Fragson gave, at Oddenino's Imperial Restaurant, on Sunday last [11 Febraury 1912], a farewell dinner to some forty of their friends. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Brett [Maie Ash], Maurice Farkoa, Courtice Pounds, Marie La Bella, with several of the Spanish dancers engaged in [the ballet] Carmen at the Alhambra [Leicester Square], and a number of other ladies and gentlemen well known in dramatic and variety circles. This is Mr. Fragson's last week at the Alhambra, and owing to Continental engagements he will not appear again in London for at least a year.'
