This real photograph postcard, published at the close of 1911 by the Rotary Photographic Co Ltd of London in its Rotary Photographic Series, no.11658A, shows three characters from Hop O' My Thumb, the Drury Lane Theatre Christmas production of 1911. Written by George R. Sims, Frank Dix and Arthur Collins, it was produced on 26 December, and ran for 111 performances, closing on 9 March 1912. The title role was played by Renée Mayer, and other important parts were sustained by George Graves, Arthur Conquest, Violet Loraine and Maudie Thornton. * * * * * * * *
